Leroy Kung
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Leroy Kung, iMerchants' co-founder and technology visionary, started his career as a software developer with Fujitsu America Ltd in Silicon Valley where he was responsible for research and development on network technologies. On returning to Hong Kong, Leroy spent a number of years in investment banking before co-founding iMerchants with Lena Foo in 1996. Leroy holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from The University of Southern California and a Master's degree in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University.

     

Lena Foo
Director, Chief Operating Officer and Vice President, Business Development

iMerchants' co-founder Lena Foo is a technology industry veteran with extensive experience in systems design and development, strategic planning, operations design and management and project management. Prior to co-founding iMerchants, she worked with Hongkong Telecom (now part of Pacific Century CyberWorks Limited), DHL Worldwide Express and IBM. Lena holds a Bachelor's degree in Science majoring in Management Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University.

     

Ronny Chow Fan Chim

Mr. Chow is a practicing solicitor in Hong Kong and a partner of Deacons. Mr. Chow graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor's degree in Laws in 1990, a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws in 1991 and a Masters degree in Laws in 1996.

 

Matthew Johnston

Mr. Johnston is currently working with an international bank where he develops product and market strategies for the institution. For the period from 31 January 2000 to 20 July 2002, he was an executive director of the Company. At iMerchants, he was Vice President of Corporate Development and was responsible for strategic and financial planning, and building business and strategic partnerships and alliances. Mr. Johnston has also worked as a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting and Braxton Associates, Deloitte Consulting’s strategy consulting practice. Mr. Johnston earned a Master of Business Administration degree with Honours from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, awarded with great distinction, in Economics and Political Science from McGill University in Canada and a Management Studies Diploma from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.

 

Tony Lo Tung Sing

Mr. Lo is the Regional Chief Financial Officer, Asia of AIG Consumer Finance Group, a business unit of American International Group, Inc. engaged in consumer finance business, where he has been holding key positions in the areas of financial and treasury management, accounting and controllership. Mr. Lo earned his Bachelor degree in Business Administration from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Master of Science in Financial Management from The University of London. He is an associate member of The Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
